Your Trusted Partner in Dog Training

Hi, I’m Nina — the trainer behind Canine Academy Kaiserslautern

Dogs are not just part of my work — they are part of my everyday life. Living and working with my own dogs has shown me how important clear communication, structure, and mutual understanding really are.

I help dog owners in the Ramstein, Landstuhl, and KMC area build calm, reliable relationships with their dogs.

I can support you with:

  • Puppy training
  • Leash pulling & reactivity
  • Recall & obedience
  • Everyday behavior challenges

My approach is clear, structured, and tailored to you and your dog — so it works in real life. I focus on practical solutions you can actually apply in your daily routine, not just in training sessions.

My goal is simple: to help you understand your dog, build trust, and create a strong, reliable partnership.

Clear communication creates confident dogs.

My Training Approach

My training is based on the latest scientific research and guided by the LIMA principle (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive).

That means I focus on being as fair as possible while providing as much clarity as necessary — so your dog can truly understand what is expected.

Positive reinforcement plays a key role in my work, combined with structure, clear guidance, and consistent, easy-to-follow rules.

My Goal

What matters most to me is real-life reliability. Training should work where life actually happens — on walks, at cafés, when guests are visiting, or in more challenging situations. That’s exactly where we focus, so you can confidently guide your dog and truly understand their behavior.

As a mobile dog trainer, I work with you individually — from puppy to senior. Whether in private sessions or group classes, my approach is calm, structured, and empathetic. I explain things clearly, give you practical tools, and support you in building confidence when handling your dog. And yes — a sense of humor is always part of the process, because learning works best in a relaxed environment.

My goal is to help you and your dog become a strong, reliable team — built on clarity, trust, and mutual understanding.
